Bucephalandra Brownie Purple

Bucephalandra are low maintenance aquatic plants that are similar to Anubias and other aquarium rhizomes. They often feature varying hues that change depending on light fixtures and viewing angle. This quality makes them a highly-coveted species amongst aquarists. They're ideal for planted tanks of all sizes and can also be planted in terrariums or high-humidity planted setups. Attach them to your favorite driftwood or stone and place in your tank as desired.

Like other species, buce brownie purple offers easy care and can be added to low light tanks or high tech tanks. If planted in a low tech without CO2, keep the lighting low and ensure consistent maintenance is performed to prevent algae growth on leaves. For quicker growth and better color, CO2 injection, moderate light exposure and a quality liquid aquariumn plant fertilizer will produce noticeable differences.
