Dwarf Hinoki Cypress chamaecyparis obtusa nana gracilis A small evergreen shrub, the Dwarf Hinoki Cypress grows well in both sunlight and shade. Growing to only 2-3 feet tall, this cypress requires little to no pruning. Given its Asian origins, this slow growing plant is a great staple for oriental gardens, rock gardens or serving as a good foundation plant. Conversely, the Dwarf Hinoki can be planted with more domestic fair, allowing it to stand out as an accent piece. Can also be used in large container gardening.
